We're nuts about nuts and their health benefits!!

Whether we're talking about the pistachios that Greeks have been enjoying since 6,000 B.C. or the immunity boosting functions of walnuts, nuts in their raw form are a great addition to our diets. Although, if you're craving those honey roasted almonds, candied pecans, or hazelnuts dipped in chocolate we encourage you to pay careful attention to the amount of oils, sugars, and butter that are added in the making of them. Incorporating nuts into a plant-based diet is a grand idea because they are both nutritious independently and pair well with fruits, vegetables, and grains. In an article from Healthline they even highlight how nuts can help curb your appetite, support immune health, reduce certain heart disease risk factors, include healthy fats, and are made of minerals like copper, magnesium, and vitamin K.
