Incorporating nuts into a plant-based diet is a grand idea because they are both nutritious independently and pair well with fruits, vegetables, and grains. In an article from Healthline they even highlight how nuts can help curb your appetite, support immune health, reduce certain heart disease risk factors, include healthy fats, and are made of minerals like copper, magnesium, and vitamin K.
