Stress eating? Consider how walnuts are a good triple threat.

We know that nuts are packed with nutrition for our bodies.

We know that nuts are a great snack to curb sugar cravings.


What we didn't know is that walnuts specifically may have more health benefits than just our appetite, to be precise a recent study published in Nutrients peels cracked the case open with their benefits.


Consuming about a half-cup of walnuts daily was associated with improved self-reported mental health indicators, metabolic biomarkers, and sleep quality, according to a study involving 80 university students, mostly women, published in Nutrients. "An interplay between stress and diet exists, with stress influencing food choices," researchers wrote.
