Study links sleep duration to constipation risk

A study prepared for presentation at Digestive Disease Week associated too little sleep among US adults with a 30% increased risk of constipation. A higher risk of constipation associated with too much sleep seen in the study was eliminated after accounting for demographics, comorbidities, lifestyle and dietary factors.
