Omega-3 fatty acid can stabilize memory in patients with Alzheimer’s disease
Patients with Alzheimer's disease who took omega-3 fatty acid supplements had stable performance on memory tests, while patients who did not take the supplements had deteriorating performance, researchers reported in the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. There were no significant differences found in levels of cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers.
